Even though Hungary is a relatively small country, our contestors managed to win 82 gold medals during the past 50 years. The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is the World Championship Mathematics Competition for High School students and is held annually in a different country. Each country may send up to 6 members to participate in the annual competition.
